Child Safety Standards (CSAE / CSAM Prevention)

Effective date: March 11, 2026

Voteidea is committed to protecting users and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards describe our prevention posture, how to report concerns, and how we respond.

1. Service scope and design constraints
Voteidea is a structured opinion collection app where users create accounts, answer multiple-choice surveys (no open-ended responses), and view aggregated results. The MVP does not include public user profiles, direct messaging, open posting, or user media uploads.

2. Adults-only eligibility (18+ only)
Voteidea is intended for adults only. Users must attest they are 18 years of age or older during account creation. Voteidea does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

3. Zero-tolerance policy
Voteidea has a zero-tolerance policy for CSAE/CSAM. The following are prohibited and will result in enforcement action:

  • Any CSAM or content depicting sexual exploitation or abuse of a minor
  • Any sexual content involving a minor (or content that sexualizes a minor)
  • Any attempt to solicit, groom, or exploit a minor
  • Any attempt to share, request, or facilitate CSAM through Voteidea or via Voteidea-related channels

4. How to report child safety concerns
If you believe you have encountered a child safety concern related to Voteidea, report it immediately:

  • In-app: Settings → Help & Support → Report a Problem (or the nearest equivalent option shown)
  • Email: legal@voteidea.com
Please include as much detail as possible (what happened, when, and any relevant context).

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

5. Enforcement and response actions
When we receive a credible report or otherwise become aware of CSAE/CSAM risk, we may take actions including:

  • Removing access to the service (account suspension/deactivation)
  • Permanently banning accounts involved in violations
  • Preserving relevant records for investigation and compliance purposes
  • Escalating the issue internally for urgent handling

6. Reporting to authorities and legal compliance
Voteidea will comply with applicable child safety laws and reporting obligations. If we become aware of apparent CSAM or CSAE-related activity, we will make reports to appropriate regional and national authorities as required.

7. Designated contact for child safety compliance
For child safety policy, compliance questions, or law enforcement requests:

  • Email: legal@voteidea.com

8. Updates to these standards
We may update these standards as our product evolves or as legal/policy requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
