Delete Account

You can delete your Voteidea account in the app or request account deletion without using the app.

How to Delete Your Account in the App

1. Open the Voteidea app.

2. Go to Settings.

3. Select Delete Account.

4. Type “DELETE” to confirm.

5. Tap Delete.

After you confirm deletion in the app, your account is deactivated immediately.

Request Account Deletion Without the App

Email: support@voteidea.com from the email address associated with your Voteidea account.

Subject: Delete My Voteidea Account

In your message, state that you want your Voteidea account and associated data deleted.

Do not send your password or other sensitive authentication information.

If you no longer have access to the email address associated with your account, contact support@voteidea.com for assistance. Additional verification may be required before deletion can be processed.

Data Deletion and Retention

When you initiate account deletion:

• We take steps to delete or de-identify your personal information and account-linked data.
• Your account and associated personal information will be fully deleted within 30 days.
• Limited information may be retained longer where required by law or necessary for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
• Non-identifiable aggregated survey results will be retained after account deletion.

Voteidea retains non-identifiable aggregated results, such as counts, percentages, and total numbers of responses, as a research record and to preserve trend consistency over time. These aggregated results are not intended to identify any individual and will remain after account deletion.
